MAJOR FUNCTION:
This associate will be responsible for material moving to accommodate manufacturing needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Using a standard stand-up reach truck and/or sit down fork truck, inventory must be moved to machine operators at various work centers.
2. Additional responsibilities to include: assist with the activities of shipping/receiving
3. Maintain accurate inventories
4. Work within Warehouse Management System (Plex) to track inventories and shipments.
5. Be able to work independently in meeting the stated position objectives with minimal direction.
6. Be able to manage daily activities to meet production schedules and other company objectives.
7. Be able to identify problems independently and implement common sense approaches to solutions with minimal direction.
8. Be able to work as a “Team” with fellow associates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. 2+ years of reach truck experience preferred.
2. 2+ years working in WMS system
DESIRED SKILLS FOR THE JOB:
1. Hold or obtain forklift driver certification.
