MAJOR FUNCTION:

General Production is responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of their assigned Machine.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.         Start up the machines in a timely manner.

2.         Inspect and verify the working condition of the machine and its assigned tooling.

3.         Prepare the tooling for production.

4.         Maintain correct machine parameter set points throughout the production shift. Cross reference the check sheet posted on the line.

5.         Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into Plex

6.         Ensure that source inventories related to the molding operation are correctly labeled and maintained. Material Verification Process        

7.         Ensure the assigned machine is producing foam that meets quality requirements and policies.

8.         Perform basic maintenance on the machine that ensures the foam meets quality requirement and policies. Including Pressure adjustments, orifice cleaning and turning tools on/off.

9.         Ensure that parts being produced during the molding operation are correctly labeled and maintained to quality requirements and policies.

10.       Alerts appropriate personnel of quality or equipment deficiencies in a timely manner.

11.       Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

12.       Maintains a clean work area and assists in maintaining the company 5S system.

13.       Follows Creative Foam policies and procedures and promotes the organizations safety efforts.

14.       Positively reinforces production goals, standards, and work ethic in work area(s) as well as the entire facility.

15.       Performs other tasks as required.
