MAJOR FUNCTION:

General Labor performs a variety of support functions in the manufacturing process. These functions include, but are not limited to: assembly, cleaning, molding, trimming, packing, quality inspection, and sorting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.           Ensure that parts being produced are conforming to customer quality requirements.

2.           Ensure that parts are trimmed and processed according to customer quality requirements.

3.           Ensure that parts are packaged in the correct method with the correct packaging quantities.

4.           Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into the Plex manufacturing system.

5.           Alerts appropriate personnel of quality deficiencies in a timely manner.

6.           Alerts appropriate personnel of equipment issues in a timely manner.

7.           Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

8.           Maintains a clean work area and assists in maintaining a clean facility whenever possible.

9.           Follows Creative Foam / Dayton Molded Urethanes policies and procedures.

10.         Promotes the organization’s safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment.

11.         Positively reinforces production goals, standards, and work ethic in their area as well as the entire facility.

12.         Maintains 5S systems for their work area.

13.         Performs other tasks as required.
