To assist and provide hands-on maintenance support to all areas in order to maintain effective and efficient maintenance of production machinery, material handling equipment, and the general plant and its utilities.  Assist in upgrade developments and installations.  Fabricate equipment and systems to improve current production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.           Hands-on machine maintenance support including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical

       systems troubleshooting and repair.  Knowledge and understanding of PLC control and control logic. 

       5 axis robotic system experience helpful.                 

2.            Hands-on plant maintenance support including utilities and structure.

3.            Performs the scheduled preventative maintenance program to its specifications and guidelines.

4.            Assists in the manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades, and plant

               improvement programs.

5.            Responsible for keeping accurate information on a project or repair work order including problem,             remedy, labor, parts and downtime incurred in a legible, specific format.

6.            Computer proficiency with experience in word, excel, etc.

7.            Promotes company’s safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment for employees.

8.            Performs other tasks as required.

EDUCATION:

1.            High school diploma minimum.  

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1.            Minimum 5 years experience in the industrial maintenance field.

2.            Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic maintenance background with a working knowledge of

               electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and their operation and application.

3.            General plumbing and plant maintenance.

4.            Ability to read a schematic and/or blueprint.

5.            Welding/cutting/fabrication experience.

6.             Strong troubleshooting skills.

7.              Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations a plus.

8.              Experience in Auto CAD helpful.
