Job Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts. This role supports inventory accuracy, identifies discrepancies, and works closely with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure inventory integrity across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to appropriate departments.
Maintain accurate records of all counts and adjustments in the ERP system.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure proper inventory handling and storage.
Assist in root cause analysis for inventory variances and support corrective actions.
Support physical inventory processes and audits as needed.
Follow all safety and quality procedures in accordance with plant policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
1–2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., PLEX).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and data entry skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, and bending in a warehouse or production environment.
Use of handheld scanners and other inventory tools.
